But <a href=\"http:\/\/news.cnet.com\/8301-17939_109-10026736-2.html\">the new Ubiquity add-in for Firefox<\/a> doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t sound all that different from what Microsoft is doing with <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.zdnet.com\/microsoft\/?p=1543\">the version of its browser due to ship in November<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s my take, but you can form your own opinion. <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/ie\/archive\/2008\/08\/27\/internet-explorer-8-beta-2-now-available.aspx\">Starting today, August 27<\/a>, at 3 p.m. EST, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windows\/internet-explorer\/beta\/\">Internet Explorer (IE) 8 Beta 2 became available for download by anyone<\/a> who wants to give it a whirl. <\/p>\n<p>As expected, there are a lot of new features that were not part of IE Beta 1 which are now available in IE 8 Beta 2. <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.zdnet.com\/microsoft\/?p=1550\">InPrivate browsing (\u00e2\u20ac\u009dporn mode\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) and InPrivate blocking<\/a> are just two of the many new items that got added to the latest IE beta.
