We&#8217;ve added in the release timeline as a reminder, because the release isn&#8217;t limited to MSDN and TechNet subscribers, there are other ways to get it before the retail launch on October 26th. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>August 15th<\/strong>:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.neowin.net\/news\/windows-8-available-from-tomorrow-for-some-at-least#\"> Developers<\/a> will be able to download the final version of Windows 8 via your <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/\">MSDN subscriptions<\/a>.\n<li><strong>August 15th<\/strong>: IT professionals testing Windows 8 in organizations will be able to access the final version of Windows 8 through your <a href=\"http:\/\/technet.microsoft.com\/\">TechNet subscriptions<\/a>.\n<li><strong>August 16th<\/strong>: Customers with existing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/licensing\/software-assurance\/default.aspx\">Microsoft Software Assurance<\/a> for Windows will be able to download Windows 8 Enterprise edition through the Volume License Service Center (VLSC), allowing you to test, pilot and begin adopting Windows 8 Enterprise within your organization.\n<li><strong>August 16th<\/strong>: Microsoft Partner <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neowin.net\/news\/windows-8-available-from-tomorrow-for-some-at-least#\">Network<\/a> members will have access to Windows 8.\n<li><strong>August 20th<\/strong>: Microsoft Action Pack Providers (MAPS) receive access to Windows 8.\n<li><strong>September 1st<\/strong>: Volume License customers without <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neowin.net\/news\/windows-8-available-from-tomorrow-for-some-at-least#\">Software<\/a> Assurance will be able to purchase Windows 8 through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/licensing\/how-to-buy\/Default.aspx\">Microsoft Volume License Resellers<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Are you one of the lucky ones with access tomorrow, or can you get it (legally) by other means before October 26th? <strong>Let us know in the comments.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow will be an exciting day for some people, who will finally have access to Windows 8 via MSDN &amp; TechNet subscriptions.
