Microsoft releases Windows Thin PC public test build
Microsoft has made available for download, as of March 28, the first Windows Thin PC Community Technology Preview (CTP) test build.
Although the final product will be available only to Software Assurance volume licensees, Microsoft is making the Windows Thin PC (Win TPC) available to the general public, officials said. The test build is available via the Microsoft Connect site and — interestingly — is listed under Windows Embedded Standard.

Microsoft sets Internet Explorer 9 release date
The next generation of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser will be available to download from 14 March according to comments from Ryan Gavin, senior director of the Internet Explorer business.
Gavin revealed the release date of the release-to-web (RTW) version of IE9 on the Windows Team Blog on Wednesday.
