Microsoft re-launches MSN with new look in the UK
Microsoft has launched a new version of its popular news and entertainment portal – MSN UK.
Following in the footsteps of the U.S. and Brazil, the new site features a simple design that integrates content from Facebook, Twitter and MSN’s Video Player service. MSN UK also includes the new butterfly logo to keep it more up to date with its American counterpart.

New golden Windows Live Hotmail logo unveiled
A recent behind-the-scenes video about the infrastructure of Windows Live Hotmail has let loose a new golden logo for Windows Live Hotmail presumably for the imminent Windows Live “Wave 4″ refresh.

Say hello to the new MSN butterfly
A trademark application filed earlier this month has quietly revealed a new logo for Microsoft’s online content brand MSN and, presumably, also its many regional subsidiaries.
Unfortunately with only a black and white preview to work with, it’s not fair to judge the new logo just yet but its obvious it still retains the now iconic butterfly which was actually not that well received when it debuted in early 2000. And like many recent logo redesigns, this too seems to be all about simplifying the elements with the body of the butterfly removed and wings rounded off to roughly stretched ellipses.
