Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Debuts

Microsoft Corp. today introduced Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010, an easy-to-use enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for midsize businesses that want advanced functionality, strong business intelligence reporting options and interoperability with other line-of-business applications. The solution features new Role Centers, out-of-the-box Web services and the ability to complete tasks through other software people use every day. Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 delivers on Microsoft’s Dynamic Business vision by increasing the agility of an organization to embrace new challenges, and will be featured at the company’s annual customer conference, Convergence 2010, April 24–27.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 5 release later this year

Microsoft is releasing on March 25 a Community Technology Preview (CTP) test build of the next version of its Dynamics CRM product, which is codenamed CRM 5.

Today’s release is the third CTP of CRM 5, according to a press release from the company. Micrsosoft is making it available to 400 selected partners (which includes independent software vendors, system integrators, VARs and hosters). It sounds like the CTP is not aimed at end users.

The CTP is available both as on-premises software and via a pre-release version of Dynamics CRM Online.
