The New Exchange Reaches RTM!

Moments ago, the Exchange engineering team signed off on the Release to Manufacturing (RTM) build. This milestone means the coding and testing phase of the project is complete and we are now focused on releasing the new Exchange via multiple distribution channels to our business customers. General availability is planned for the first quarter of 2013.

Visio 2010: Visio Viewer

Microsoft Visio 2010 Viewer allows anyone to view Visio drawings and diagrams (created with Visio 5.0 through Visio 2010) inside their Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 5 through 8) Web browser.

Graphical user interface (GUI) enhancements in Exchange 2010 SP1

SP1 whets the appetite of administrators who want to use Exchange Management Console (EMC) and Exchange Control Panel (ECP) to administer various features. More and more features are exposed in the EMC and ECP, helping Exchange Administrators to manage their Exchange 2010 infrastructure.

Exchange 2010 SP1 brings a long list of improvements. This blog focuses mostly on the GUI enhancements both in EMC and ECP.

Exchange 2010 SP1 FAQ and Known Issues

Last week Microsoft released Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1. It has received some great feedback and reviews from customers, experts, analysts, and the Exchange community.

MSDN, TechNet get Office 2010 this week

Computerworld – Subscribers to Microsoft Corp.’s developer and IT professional services are first in line to get Office 2010, which will be released to MSDN and TechNet on Thursday, the company has confirmed.

MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) and TechNet subscribers can download the production versions of Office 2010 starting April 22, five days before volume license customers with Software Assurance will be able to obtain the new application suite.
