(Windows PE). Windows RE is a partial version of the OS and includes a set of tools that you
can use to perform system recoveries along with a backup that you created earlier using
Windows Server backup. Windows RE also includes a basic image recovery mechanism
leveraging Windows Setup, helping OEMs and corporations provide system recovery with
minimal effort.

The following document will provide some basic information about using WinRE on 2008 R2 + Windows 7.

Windows Live Movie Maker Review

When Microsoft launched the “wave 3” version of its Windows Live Essentials suite back in January (see my review), one big piece of the puzzle was missing: Windows Live Movie Maker, a major reworking of the underappreciated but excellent Windows Movie Maker application from Windows XP days (see my review of Movie Maker 2), was still woefully incomplete and in beta form.
